On a Friday

Yesterday was an exciting day for me - my London Sketchbook short animation was screened in Berlin at the opening event of the British Shorts 2014 festival, as part of their documentary special.

Friday also saw the official opening of Timberyard Seven Dials coffeeshop, and with it the 2nd Urban Sketchers London exhibition, of which I'm a part of. As well as 5 works of mine, there is also artwork on their walls by Adebanji Alade, Olha Pryymak, Lis Watkins and Evelyn Rowland. The shop is open til late, and is easy to find, on Upper St Martins Lane, and the exhibition will be up for another few months yet.
Here is a photo of me hanging some of the works, and what it looks like now it's open. Be sure to check downstairs!

On top of all that,  my latest animation that I worked on with teammates Andy and Tom has been doing rather well for itself - yesterday it had over 2,400 views with features on various websites, and even someone stealing it and putting it on youtube.
You can see it for yourself on Vimeo here:

  1. Congratulations on all your recent successes. Love the Santa animation!

Great to meet you last month. Hope to draw with you again soon.
